10 Day Reboot Camp

I've been trying to motivate myself to get active and eat better, but it's been extremely hard for me.  My motivation was zilch and the ideal of starting an intense exercise program at the start of a hot summer did not help any.  Thankfully, I saw this in my favorite magazine, Whole Living.  Finally, something that I felt good about doing.  I was immediately excited.  Dare I say,  I'm inspired.

So, last night I went to bed at 11pm ( which is tough to do for a night owl like me ) and woke up early.  I did 10 push-ups {not the sissy girl push ups, but hardcore USMC 4 count push up.  And yes, I was dying!!}.  I also attempted to do the yoga exercise suggested in the magazine, child's pose to plank.  Um, yeah,  my version looked nothing like what they intended, but I did do 10.  Well at least I think I did 10.  Ten very sloppy, awkward poses, but 10 nonetheless.  I ended my first day with 30 mins on the treadmill at a respectable slow pace.

I feel good, seriously, I feel really good and it's only day 1.  This is a dang good start now I just have to keep this momentum up for 9 more days.

Hopefully, this 10 day reboot camp will help me rekindle my love for fitness and in the process I may find my abs.  My long lost abs....miss you.

The End.

I'm like you, uninspired yet desperately in need. Maybe I'll try this. Why not, right?
