I have so much to talk about and share.  Unfortunately, time has eluded me and blogging has not been a priority.   Hopefully, sometime next week,( let's be realistic, sometime before the end of this month...) I will start posting again.  Still trying to figure out our ( my ) rhythm for the school year, but that's a continuous act of tweaking our schedules/lives.  I'm learning to go with the flow, but I'm often plagued with my own self doubt.  I know most moms know what I'm talking about, but for us homeschooling moms self doubt can be enormous.

Thankfully, I finally feel like I can catch my breath and blog again.  I miss this space and I miss you guys too.

I know the feeling. I have not written for a while either and I have so much to share too. Here's hoping that the holidays are stress free and that w are both able to get back to blogging soon.

Self doubt is the continual companion of the Homeschool Mom. Get to know it, learn to love it, and remember not to let it pull you down. It's like a touch of anxiety on test day: you want enough to keep you on your toes, but not enough to derail your mission. It's simply a part of life.

I found the best strategy was to do my due diligent research, commit to a plan, and then follow it through. Don't let greener grass syndrome influence you regarding sending your children to school, or even changing homeschool curriculum or methods.

I had so much doubt, and frankly still do, at times.

It is so reassuring to have Baby Boy tell me that Homeschooling him was the best thing we could have done. It took 15 years, but those words certainly warmed my heart.

Keep at it! Remember MOM knows best!
